William graduated from Manhattanville College, in Purchase, NY, in 1976, with a Bachelor of Arts in History, cum laude. He then received his J.D. from University of North Carolina School of Law in 1979.
William spent several years working for Metropolitan Life Insurance Company before he began practicing law in 1982. He began his legal career representing workers' compensation claimants and carriers, and personal injury plaintiffs. Since 1984, he has represented workers’ compensation claimants exclusively, and since 1988, Social Security Disability applicants. At the age of 34, he formed his own firm, McGillicuddy & Siegel, P.C., with offices in Pine Bush and then Montgomery.
After several successful years, William retired, in 2002, and sold the firm. William stayed busy during his retirement - he received a Master’s in Education from Mount Saint Mary College and served on the Pine Bush Central School District Board of Education for 3 years. He also worked as a stock broker for 2 years.
In 2010, William returned to law and bought back his firm. William D. McGillicuddy Law Office, P.C., was created.
For nearly a decade, William has been steering the firm and lending his legal and worldly experience to injured and disabled workers. William has two children, a daughter who is a prosecutor in the Atlanta region and a son who is attending the National University of Ireland.
Stacie graduated from Orange County Community College in 1991 with an Associate's Degree, followed by a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from St. Thomas Aquinas College in 1993. Stacie started working as a legal assistant in the office of Robert M. Gables, L.H.R.
In 1995, Stacie became a NYS Worker's Compensation Board Licensed Hearing Representative and started working at McGillicuddy & Siegel, P.C. When William McGillicuddy retired, Stacie stayed on with the new firm owners. In 2010, she was reunited with William when he returned to practicing law.
Stacie is married to a local police chief, and she is the mother of two grown children. She is an avid womens’ softball and basketball enthusiast, and a dedicated supporter of high school athletics. Stacie is tenacious in any task she undertakes.

Richard graduated from St. Lawrence University, in Canton, NY, in 1993, with a Bachelor of Arts in English Writing. Richard received his J.D., his law degree, from Western New England College School of Law, in 1997. He has been practicing law in NY since 1999.
Having spent 19 years representing carriers in workers’ compensation claims, Richard decided in 2018 to return to his “working class roots” and represent only injured and disabled workers. Stacie and William are glad he did, and he certainly knew how they approached matters from years spent facing them in hearings.
Richard is a big fan of professional sports, including (in descending order) hockey, baseball and football.
